Procar Scat - Rally Series 1000 Seats

just wanted to know how do you feel about them? I saw a few cars on here with them. I just found a set for sale in nearly new condition but they're vinyl. should I get them in vinyl or better save money and get leather?

I had a set in my 69 Firebird. I was happy with them and they were quite comfortable for the price. I am thinking about adding a set to my GTO.

When I first got mine I was disappointed with the quality of the material looked but now I like them. They are very comfortable but don't hold you extremely tight at on a road course. I also have the smooth top on mine and think it is a cleaner look.

      Hey Kev,
I had looked at those seats for quite a few years at car shows and then a buddy of mine finally bought a set. They are comfortable and have good support on the sides. Very nice seats for the price. Plus the stitching matches a bunch of the classic car interiors. The only question I would ask is how tall are you? I am 6'2" and the seat backs ending up being a little bit on the short side for me. I ended up going with the Procar Elites. Same type of vinyl, recliner, and construction but they have a taller back that is about 4 inches higher. Just something to consider. I have not seen or sat in a Procar seat that is leather so I couldn't give an opinion on those.

sure leather is better - but I found a set procar scat rally seats here in germany. they're almost new and price is good. so I thought to get them and maybe get new leather covers in few years when the vinyl is "gone". I also know a upholsterer that's friend of mine..

      I'm 5'9" so I think they'll fit great..
