C6 Z06 brakes and ATS spindles on Grand National (G Body)

I figured I share a few pictures of the latest accomplishment. I've been wanting to do this mod since Feb 2011 when I got the Rushforth wheels (best wheels ever!). Those wheels just looked too good to be paired with stock brakes. Tobin at Kore3 was awesome helping me out as was Ken at KNS brakes hooking me up with the rotors (under 200 for DBA 4000 C6 Z06 rotors!). Mark at SC&C set me up with the needed upper conrol arms. Now it's time to do something about the rear brakes! Let me know what yall think.

My initial impression is that they are great, I can lock them up now. Remember I had the original 1 piston g body brakes, they were simply terrible. I also can't go faster than 40 since my transmission is toast so I haven't got a real good evaluation of them yet.

Very nice. Is the new control arm required for all the G-body cars?

I was told by Mark at SC&C that I did need to replace the control arms. Remember that these spindles are a lot taller than stock so it moves the upper control arm up, and therefore out on the stock configuration, resulting in positive camber (not good). You might be able to stack a bunch of shims on the upper control arm to make up for it but I'm not sure. Hope this helps, but if not contact mark at SC&C, the guy is a suspension geneous.
