Question on Vintage Air streamline 3 knob controller

So I bought a Vintage Air streamline 3 knob controller to replace the stock type controls with pots. Since the ECU is programmed to work with the stock control panel, do I have to reset the ECU for it to work with the 3-knob controller, and how do I reset the ECU? I plugged in the 3 knob controller without resetting the system, and nothing works.

I believe you do have to have it reprogrammed. Might give a call to VA, as they can answer the question pretty fast.

You will have to send it to VA and they will have to swap it out.

Talked to VA. I had to reprogrammed the ECU, using the same programming steps as programing the factory controls with pots. Works great now.
