Im looking for some info on what my options are for a reasonable priced brake upgrade for my 1972 firebird would be. I want to swap the rear to 98-02 camaro ls1 disc and i would also like to upgrade front to ls1 camaro or c5 vette calipers and larger rotors. What would i need to do this or if their is a better solution your advice would be great. The original brakes just wont cut it anymore with as much power as this car makes.

That is exactly what I will be running soon. I already have the C5 front brakes and have the LS1 rear brakes ready to go on, just looking for a few more parts to finish the install; adjustable proportioning valve and ebrake cables. I did mine on an extreme budget and I am only into my front C5 upgrade for under 400 bucks. I have all the hardware for the LS1 conversion for 250, but still need some more parts. I will let you know when I get my car on the road how the brake feel. Just from driving in the driveway, the brakes stop great.

You could do the 1LE coversion up front and the S10 or late 2nd Gen Trans Am discs out back if you're on a budget.
Otherwise, call Tobin at KORE3 for the best brake kit available if you're wanting C5/C6 stuff!!
