      1st Gen rear seat delete

What to you all recommend for a 1st gen with the rear seat removed? I was thinking a rear firewall and then carpet in place of the seat. Any other ideas or pics of what others have done?

I carpeted mine after using some sheet metal to block off the back. worked pretty well. I'll try to find some pics.

I believe that did this on "jack Ass," but build a shelf down low for some storage. Does not have to be big, but if I pull my rear seat out I will be doing that. Never thought about storage when I was building my car until I started going to these events. Sometimes you just need to carry a few spare things.

My plan is to build a rear firewall and carpet from the package tray to the floor carpet. I have a toolbox under the rear seat of my pickup and it comes in very handy for storage. Something like that would be very handy in place of the rear seat IMO.
