I'm looking/needing to do this on my 71 camaro with LS2 and stock subframe. It will be located on the passenger side. I have seen people do it with after market sub frames no problem, but I think with a stock one the frame needs to be notched. Anyone do this and have pics, details etc? I see street and performance has a mounting kit. I hoping I can just pull the header off on that side and not the whole engine? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I am interested as well. Seems like if you boxed it correctly, and pushed the engine back as far as possible it wouldn't be that much of a notch.

^^^ The S&P bracket puts the compressor 10.5 inches away from the center of the crank pulley. But this also moves it back therefore closer to the subframe. They make another that doesnt move it back but it runs on the serpentine belt and I am afraid I might have belt slip with the SC....or maybe not with a 8 rib pulley system.

I found this:
