Ignition switch removal - 68 Camaro

Hey guys,
I know this is pretty basic and I've done it before but it was a while back and I don't recall. I'm trying to remove the complete ignition switch from my 68 Camaro. I've loosened the bezel as far as it will go and tried inserting a paper clip into the hole next to the key but with no luck. What am I missing - how does this think come out??

Gotta have the key in the switch, paper clip in the hole, turn counter-clockwise if I recall.

okay guys - going to the garage to try now. I was putting the paper clip in after I turned the key - and turning key to the right

worked like a champ, thanks guys - all my wiring is now removed - YEA!!
