      Mixing Tires and Rubber Compounds

I'm wondering if there's any issues with running stickier tires on the fronts than on the back typically? Mainly I'm talking about street time. I'm thinking 140-180 rubber fronts and 320 rubber on the back. Same size tire on both. Any opinions?

Oversteer is the first word that comes to mind.

Hahahaha...I am sensing that you will be turning right in the left hand turns...

Also you will be looking out the passenger window to see...

X2...my thoughts exactly. What's the goal in mixing and matching tires front to back? Is it a size availability issue or something else?
      It's what I does.

No not an availability issue. More a difference between what I want and what I should get. I really would like to have some sticky tires but they are going to see only street time. I figure if I buy the 320 rubber I'll never have to buy tires again(as much as I get to drive the car). If I buy the 140 or 180 tires I'll have to spend another $600 in a couple of years and I don't really drive it that hard on the street anyway. So I was thinking that if I went 320s on back at least when the soft ones wore out I'd only be in for a new pair not a full set. I can get the KumhoXS for the same price as the Firestone Wide Ovals(more or less). Guess I'll just stick with the same all the way round. Don't want to be steering with the back of the car if I can help it.

Take a look at the BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tires. I through them on a street Camaro I recently built. They are pretty inexpensive and actually impressed me for the money.

I did consider the BFG G Force. My son had a set on his 5.0 GT and they hooked very well. Those cars are set up pretty well anyway out of the box. I just have to make a dicision and go for it.
