I read a topic on here awhile back about modifying the ls1 brake booster to fit on a second gen. I was going to start modifying my booster to fit this weekend. It seems pretty straight forward but wanted to rear the topic again to make sure theres no tips I am missing.
Can anyone help, the search yielded me with no results.

There is a thread on here where I saw a similar conversion. I have the parts to do it for my Firebird, but I am not there yet. One guy cut the brackets off of his second gen booster and welded them to the LS1 F-body booster. Not sure about the pedal and pivot point. I will be watching this thread.

DSE sells something similar, with the bracket on them but they are $395. Looks like the rod to the pedal is modified as well. They have the snap on cover on them and not the screw on lid. I would be very interested in the LS1 coversion too.

Sounds pretty straight forward. I have the old booster, I will have to check them out and see if swapping the brackets over is the way to go. I would assume that if I swap the brackets over that I will just use the rubber seal from the old booster to fit that bracket.
