      fitment question

I have a 1965 chevelle. I found some wheels in Craigslist that I like and are inexpensive. The front wheels measure 20x8 with +38 offset and 6 " backspacing. The rears measure 20x10 with +38 offset and 7" of backspacing. Will these wheels work or will I need 1" spacers all the way around?

Yeeesh.... you are going to have some problems making that fit.... what size tires? What does your suspension look like? New Stock? Worn out stock? Aftermarket?

Hard to get the really high offset wheels to fit on older vehicles.

I wouldn't think that even a 1" spacer would be enough in the back..... but then again, I don't own a Chevelle

The car has newer stock suspension. The wheels have no tires on them . I'd probably go with a 225 front and 255 rear. The brakes are drums all the way around. I've seen other a- body cars running 18x8 with 5 backspacing and 18x9 with 6.

What aspect ratio tire? I'm sure some of the chevelle owners can chyme in.... sounds like you've probably got about as much room as possible considering your suspension setup....

Due to the 20" diameter I'll probably have to run 35 aspect ratio. I don't really want anything smaller than a 35.
