I am in need of some guidance and I figured you all could help.

I have swapped an LT1 into my 69 non factory air car and I want to add AC. I have purchased the Bowers LT1 compressor brackets already. I have the factory compressor, Condenser, and dryer from the 96 Camaro for the LT1. Can I use all of these parts on my 69? I was hoping to just get by with a Vintage Air evaporator kit, new ref lines, controls, switches, ducts, etc.

i am on a tight budget so I can only afford to do this once so I need to do it right.

What parts of mine can I use (if any) and what will I need to buy to make it all work? Or should I just save up for a complete Vintage Air kit next year?

Thanks in advance,
Dustin

I don’t now if condenser will fit you’ll have to try it. If not you can get a universal condenser or a condenser for the 69 you’ll have to get the hoses made. It shouldn’t be to hard. you’ll probable need to get electric fans to. Probable not the answer your looking for but good luck

Thanks for the reply.

I am also using the radiator and dual electric fans from the LT1 already so mounting the Condensor should be easy.

FWIW I used the stock compressor from the 95 on my swap/Vintage Air conversion.

And when fitting take the passenger seat out as it's a pain to fit the unit,
