      Rushforth Wildside 68 Camaro

Someone finally finished a car with a set of Wildsides and got us some nice pics. This is one of our early designs but for some reason never quite caught fire like other designs and I have to say it is one of my personal favorites. So, if you're looking for something a little different, this is obviously a killer look and is definitely not played out.

This car is mini-tubbed slightly with a narrowed rearend to accommodate the 19x10s with a nice deep dish which is a great way to stuff a 295 on a 1st gen without going full kill on a set of 12s and 345mm rubber.

That is a great wheel. Love that blue with the white D90 stripe.

a rarely seen but wicked wheel.

Any chance you can provide a little more info on the width of axle and how much the wheel well was widened? Basically so the first thing that hits is the frame rail in stock location?
That is exactly what I am thinking about doing to my 68 camaro with a 295 (except think I am doing a Rushforth Superspoke) and a narrowed 9". Any chance you have a pic from the rear showing the tire width?
      Thanks,
      Adam

Sorry Buddy, We only built the wheels but I can tell you he did it the right way, which is to order the wheels first with your ideal amount of dish and backspace, put tires on them which in this case are 295/35/19s, mock them up in the wheelwells and then measure between them to get the desired rearend width. Based on his backspace (4.5"), width and mini-tubs, if I had to take a guess, I'd ballpark him at having narrowed the rear less than 2" per side but remember that these are 45 year old uni-body cars of often unknown origins so measure twice and cut once!
