      Tire Help

I'm looking for more traction on the rear of my car in a 275/40/17 tire. I am running BFG g force sports now, and they have decent lateral traction, but they do not stick when I accelerate. I was thinking of running BFG r1 or BFG drag radials in the rear while keeping the g force sports up front (keeping all tires on the car BFG), but I am looking for some advice before I buy. My main concern is good traction followed by decent handling. I don't care if they only last a few thousand miles. I drive mainly on the street and highways and avoid bad weather. Calling BFG for a recommendation was not a lot of help, they recommended the same tires that I have now. I'm putting down less than 400 hp at the wheels now with hotchkiss springs in a 1st gen.

Anybody here use bfg drag radials on the street? I know they work on the strip, but would they be noticeably better on the street than my 340 tread wear bfg g force sports?
