      6" lip wheels

Anyone have pictures of stepped lip wheels with a 6" wide lip. I ordered some wheels and wanted a wide lip and went with the maximum which is 6" on a 19x12 but now wondering if it's to much? Wheel's haven't been made yet so I can probably still change my mind.

I love deep lips, but at what point do you have to worry about bending them due to not having enough support to keep the wheel round? Ive heard guys twanking their deep lips wheels pretty easily by hitting fairly small potholes/bumps.

I would think that this "LIP" is dictated by the amount of room you have in the wheel well vs Rear end width. (I know there is wiggle room depending on wheel choice/design). Unless you are going to do a wide body after wheels are put on.

However long you think your project will take, double it and you might be halfway right.

Thanks for the reply's guys. I'm staying with the 6" lip, doesn't seem like it's as extreme after seeing what some of you have and I wouldn't want to feel inadequate!

Nice 67 Mr Vengeance, that's the car the wheels are for. I'm mini-tubbing car so should be OK.
