      1965 Mustang

I am building a 65 mustang. I like the procar seat in the jegs catalog. I am wanting a seat that looks like that but does not have a head rest. Should I buy the seat and remove the head rest or is there another seat out there I should check out

      Thanks, Doug

I have these seats in my mustang...they fit early mustangs real well. And for the money they are tough to beat. I bought mine with headrests from Mustang Plus in California. I too was going to run mine without the headrest because I never liked the look of a tall seat in an early mustang...something about it with from the outside with the door closed just looks out of proportion when the seats sticks up so high above the top of the door. But after putting the procar seats in my car I ended up leaving the headrest on.

definitely do not get the Procar Sportsman. They are hard as a rock and WAY to tall. I had them in a 68 coupe I had before. In the 68 coupe I have now, I have the Procar Elite. They fit nicely and give it a bit more modern flare.
