      help me choose

well with the black friday sale on the forgeline wheels happening i have decided that i would just spend the money and get the wheels that i want and not F around with wasting $$ on some other rims that are not what i really want. the car is a 1969 El camino suspension is the SC&C Touring-Plus Suspension Package 1964-1972 GM A Bodyhttp://scandc.com/new/node/738 and i am going to step up to the afx sometime. also have a Ls1/t56 in it.it blue right now but will be getting painted silver ( dont know what color yet ) when i get to the body work. also all the chrome trim will be painted satin or matte black. so the question is what color of rims should i get.the cari want the zx3 and i am thinking Gunmetal Center with brushed lip. but thats where i need some help with choosing. maybe the Polished lip. or maybe a Matte Black? or Titanium ?

That's a tough one as you haven't 'finalized' your paint scheme yet. A brushed finish will, in the end, match almost anything, and if you are for sure planning to de-chrome the car, make the decision to brush the trim, and a brushed lip will be the natural choice. Center finsh, if you are going to paint the car any shade of silver, the titanium, or gun metal center will be a nice compliment to any silver paint job. So a brushed outer, gun metal center would be what I would suggest. This finish is versatile with all the color schemes you seem to be contemplating.

We're taking orders for the Forgeline Sale already, give us a call if you want to talk any more about it, or shoot some ideas.

I know this isn't a ZX3, but this is what I'm talking about as far as finish goes:

If your keeping the chrome bumpers, door handles, window trim, I lean towards polished lips. If you doing body color bumpers, I lean towards brushed lips if you want a aggressive look. If your doing that trim stuff black, I would do Black lips.
