Those look like slide a links:

I think there should be a bushing in the slip section though...

Dead on. Its an old version of the CE slide-a-links. They work very well for drag racing, and you can get some really good 60 foots with those.

Thanks for the help guys, thats exactly what they are.

So should i run them on my camaro its mostly going to be a cruiser and ill probably try some autocross events but nothing too serious. I read that they can be kind of stiff in the corners? OR are these strictly for drag racing? Dose any one have any experiance with these type of bars?

Turns out that the leafs are Hotchkis 1.5" drop leafs i had to add 1" drop blocks to get my desiered ride hight.

With the hotchkis springs they're kind of redundant. The stronger hotchkis springs wont bind like factory ones will, and that's what the CE kit fixes. IF you were going to drag race, on slicks, at a prepared track, then I would run these. Otherwise they're just big things to scrape on speed bumps.

I thought so:confused:, dang and i realy liked the agrssive look of them i just might leave them on and wait till i get my car on the road and see the ride differance with and with out them. and then decide to sell them

You shouldnt see any difference in ride quality with those, they only work on HARD launches. I do agree they look cool. Its probably not that expensive to get them powder coated a color that compliments your car.

Agreed. They should have some sort of coil spring or rubber bushing to take up the space on the sliders, otherwise the bars will do nothing until they fully collapse, IF they ever get that far...

I plan on running them, i did get the urethan bushing that go in the middle and un like Competion Engineeing recomends that the front eye busing on my leafs should be replaced with solid aloy bushings i plan on running the ruber hotchkis bushing hope this smooths the ride out a bit since some guys say that the rough im hopping this helps some

How did this combo work out for you?

I've been running stock multileafs in my Nova. I installed slide-a-links with the solid front bushings years ago and was very happy with the added traction. Now I'm ready to lower the car with the same Hotchkis 1.5" springs. I face the same decision: keep or sell off the SALs and if I keep them, can I run the rubber instead of solid front bushings.

Im still bulding my car its not done yet but the 1.5" leafs didnt give me the stance i was hopping for i added a 1" drop block and sill not happy with the stance, if ur intrested in the hotchkis 1.5" leafs basicaly new just installed them to see the stance i can give u a deal on them as i need/want 3" drop springs
