I am having a big problem with vibrations, I think it comes from the driveshaft or something in this area. I have tried the following.
Pinion angel set up and down are now at front 2 degree down and rear axel 3 degree down.
The driveshaft has been fully balanced and is straight and with new u-joint. I have tried two different complete rearaksel carrier.
The vibration is coming at around 4000 RPM in high gear (TH700 with lock up) and getting worse when I goes higher in RPM. The rear is 3,89-1.

Thanks Peter

I know this seems really silly, but have your tires/wheels been balanced. Your vib. coming in at high vehicle speed makes that stick out in my head more than anything else. I'd have those checked (even if they've been done, someone could easily have done a crappy job or you could have thrown a weight. Also, in theory, your wheels could be bent or have a warp to them) and work from there.

Hope this helps
Tad

I feel your pain Peter, I've been dealing with a vibration in my T/A as well. I'd check the driveshaft angles again. Somebody else may know more about this than I do, but 2 down and 3 down seems like it would cause some sort of a bind. Also check the angle on the side of the driveshaft. When I put my 2004r in, I got the trans mount about 3/8 of an inch off on one side. Correcting this took away ALOT of my vibrations.
