      Team III wheels

Hey guys I'm looking for some information on Team III wheels. I like the LT-III but looking for some feedback on their product.

      Thanks

Like most custom wheels they take some time to get. They are very well produced and a quality product. We've had a set for about 7 years.

I have the first set of 2 piece 18" LT's that Scott made on my vette. They are an awesome looking wheel, quality is second to none. The only issue I have is the pad thickness difference from the 18x10 to the 18x12....basically even though the 12" has way more backspace (2+ inches) the dish looks very similar. This is just an issue with having to weld two hoops together to get a 12" wide wheel and where you have to mount the center piece to cover the joint

Thanks for the feed back. I was a bit concerned about the welding of a cast center to the new hoops. Nick could you send me some pictures of 18X10 LT's I am interested in running them on my camaro and was curious how big the dish is.

      Thanks

Mine should arrive soon, on week 3 of the estimated 4-5 week build time. I ordered 18x8 and 18x11s for my Falcon from Richard at North Racecars. Going stir crazy waiting for them.

If you could post the pics that would be great. Looking to put the LT's as well on my project vette, 18 x12's and 18 x 10's. I had a set of his wheels on my 64 Grand Sport Corvette and really liked them. https://www.pro-touring.com/showthre...eam+iii+wheels

      Thanks

Well, wheels should have been here, or actually were here, on Friday. But no one was here to sign for the UPS guy so I will go by the distribution center Monday and pick them up. I will also weigh them before mounting the tires so that there will be some data on the weights of the 18" version of these. I know a few people have them but I have never seen pictures of the 18" LT-III's mounted on a car. Now just have to decide on the finish, gold with brushed lip or all satin black.

I got an email back from them tonight.... say wheels weigh 18-20 lbs. That's pretty good. I wonder how strong and durable they are as road racing wheels?

that is awfully light for an 18"x 10" in that price range. LowFast please weigh yours without tires.....I am really curious. If your 18 x 11 is under 25 lbs that would be awesome.

Ok, got them after a bit of an odeal with UPS, that is why I am a FedEx guy. Anyway, pulled them out, beautiful quality and very well packaged.

      Weights:

      18x8 25lbs

      18x11 29lbs

Not light but not terrible, and they look super strong so I am ok with the weight.

See pics below. Love the 6-piston Wilwoods peeking out from behind. And my helper wanted to ham it up as well. He is a big kid and the 18x11 still dwarfs him. Pictures of the mounted wheel are at ride hieght. Now just need to order up the tires and get the wheels finished, glod or black, gold or black?

Needless to say I am stoked, these things are going to look killer.

That's pretty heavy, and a lot more than what they told me. Hmmm....
