I'm wondering about newer GM fuse and relay boxes. Are these modular Delfi pieces? What series of Delfi are they? Can buy the large goupe connectors that plug in to them? Can I buy a tool to release the terminals and buy new terminals?

I'm sort of interested in running a modular fuse and relay box, so I can expand and fit every thing in.

I have an older car with every thing from fuel injection to a voice warning system, along with pw, pl, etc. I'd like pretty good fuse and relay expansion capabilities, and try to keep most of it in the same location on the car.

I don't want to run one of those isis things, I want fuses, and don't mind spending three months wiring the car.

Any suggestions/knowledge?

Download the Delphi catalog and start browsing. Lots of possibilities.

Thanks. For some reason that link didn't work too well. Try this one.

Thanks guys.

I've been looking at that. What's in the GM cars is where I'm lost. I see that Delfi has several different types of connectors. And I was wondering about replacing the terminals in the huge bulkhead connectors that plug into the fuse boxes.

I'm just gonna run out to a local salvage yard, Pick what I think is a winner, and dive in from there.

When I get a little time, maybe this weekend, I hope to find a Delphi part number on my box. Then look inthe Delphi catalog to see what they list for connectors. Hopefully I can find some info on my box that way.
