The car's been "finished" since 2005, but I was never very happy with how the engine bay turned out, so I decided it was time to make some changes while I had it at the shop to re-tune the carb and have the calipers sent back to Wilwood for a rebuild.

The shopping list:
Ron Davis radiator
SPAL 13" fans
Vintage Air Serpentine
AC evaporator
Master Cylinder
Headlights
Fuel distribution line to carburetor
Valve covers

Other to-do's:
Re-wire engine bay (new wire + hide wires)
Adjust and relocate choke cable
Upgrade headlight wiring
Re-plumb AC
Match all hoses and looms
Remove windshield washing fluid reservoir/lines/spray nozzles

Once this project is done, next up is selling the wheels/tires and getting some 18s put on

Very nice! Look forward to updates. Any chance you know the color code for that blue? I have been looking for the perfect blue forever...

Thanks! It's electron blue found on some of the C5 Corvettes..only I think the painter didn't prep the color correctly. I think black was supposed to be an under-coat to the blue (to get the same color as GM), but he didn't do that so it came out lighter than it was supposed to..which I actually like more :)

I typed out so much then the computer restarted for update.. Thank you for the info. I have been told black under silver and dark blue. Lighter blues, grey or silver. Thanks. I have an idea now.

Honestly, I'm not a 1st gen fan much but the 1st and 3rd pics you posted, I might change my mind :1st::yum:

Thank you! You're the 2nd person in the last couple days who's asked...let me do some digging, I bought them a few months ago and sat on them for a while. Only modification to make them fit is cutting out the round "bowl" bracket it sits back into with a slightly larger diameter circle then stock. These were cheap too IIRC

Couldn't find any info on the headlights....essentially they are the Autolock snake eyes headlight, but i removed the snake eye (was held in with a screw)

the new front main seal is leaking again already, so it must've gotten cut installing..still need a new air cleaner to get rid of the billet specialties piece that doesn't fit in anymore, need a new valve cover breather bc i have a mr. gasket piece for temp use right now :badteeth:, and need a thermostat bc the shop couldn't find one to work .....but over all I'm pretty happy with how it came out. They even adjusted some body gaps. The car is much more of a pleasure to drive now too :yup:

oh, and i need to take that insulation piece off the AC box and put some of the adhesive 'foil' type on instead that you find on racecars
