HELP with AAW Dash lights!

I just installed my AAW classic update in my 67 camaro. I also installed the Dakota Digital VHX Analog gauges, digital tail and front parking lights. Everything works except the dash lights for my console and the light for the heater panel on the dash. My DD gauges work fine when I turn the headlights on. There is a grey wire labeled dash lights in the harness but it does not get power when the lights are turned on, like i thought it should. Anyone have any ideas, besides tapping into the headlight harness?

Check your headlight switch output....

I checked the switch and that was the problem. Bad switch! Checked it with my 44 year old switch and it worked. Thanks Todd
