1969 GTO Wiring Harness Options
Hi all,
We're looking to redo the wiring in our mostly stock 69 GTO Judge and are having some troubles finding good options. I'm not a fan of the painless wiring products, mostly as a result of the kit I got for my Camaro that I chose not to use.
I love the AAW stuff, but they don't offer a kit for this car. I think ISIS would be overkill for a stock car, both in features and cost.
So what is everyone using on their Buick/Olds/Pontiac muscle cars?

AAW also builds a Factory Fit replacement harness as well as the universal and update series. They can also make mods to the kit if you like.
M&H is another source for Factory replacments.

Hi! We at Ron Francis Wiring offer the easiest to install, most reliable and best when it comes to future troubleshooting. Please keep these things in mind as you research wiring for your project. Our products are so good we will support and help you for as long as you own the vehicle and the next owner and the next owner too. With our wiring in your car, it is actually worth more should you sell it because the buyer knows we will support the wiring as if he was the original owner.
Each of our fuse panels has a serial number on it so that even though we make improvements and changes, we can track your purchase and tell you, or another owner, 10 years from now how the car is wired. Then we can advise you on what has to be done to either fix something or make additional upgrades like adding air conditioning, changing a steering column or even another brand engine.
The EXPRESS is a very small fuse panel. It has all of the wiring needed to pass most state inspections, fire the engine, gauges, third brake lights, room for A/C.P/Ws. P/Ls. stereo radio memory for digital systems and all the toys you might want to add and then some. We can usually ship in a couple
days. I am here if you have questions and I try to reply quickly. Our EXPRESS wiring system has 18 fuse-protected connections on the color coded terminal block.
Pontiac Series
Small and Big Block engines
HEI, Points, Aftermarket distributors
One-Wire or GM built-in alternators
Stock, later model or aftermarket columns
Includes firewall connector cover
Connectors to use stock ignition switches
New GM headlight switch included
All the wires you need to do a terrific job from front to back. You will be
surprised how complete

Our harnesses are so easy to install, it only requires simple instructions separated into sections so you don't have to hold up a road map looking schematic. There is not and overwhelming pile of information that will confuse you. Everything is color coded together on all models. We hot stamp the printing on our wire that tells you CLEARLY where every wire is routed to and from. Hot Stamping is a superior method because it won't ever scrape or rub off and it has a higher contrast than our competitors identification, making it very easy to read.
If I can answer any more questions, please let me know. Remember we are the only wiring company where not only do you know the owner's name but you can contact me anytime. Our phone number is 1-800-292-1940.
This is a direct reply from Ron himself.
09-07-2011 #4If it's mostly stock, don't overlook M&H factory replacement harnesses. The pieces I've gotten from them (mainly for other cars) are just like factory. I did use the tail light section harness from M&H as for those lights I was changing nothing, and didn't have good plugs to start with. They came absolutely perfect with even the clips in the exact right position. It is one of the only "factory" type non-modified parts on the entire car.
