I'm installing a new American Auto Wire harness in my 69 Camaro. How do I get the fuel light to be activated when the fuel level is low? I know it wasn't originally used but i like the idea plus the indicator is already there. I'm using an autometer gauge. If I wire the idiot light from the tank sending unit does it get activated when the ohms reach the right level?

I know you guys are smarter than me and can tell me how to make it work. I am great at taking direction, but not as good at electrical engineering.

thanks,

OK, no one wants to comment?

I know there is a module for $50-$70 that is part of the original cousel gauges. It seems someone should know how to build this module instead of having to buy it.

anyone?

Decent thread on this subject over at Camaros.net with a circuit schematic:

I'm working on something as well but with a few additional features. I just need a few more days in the week......

Carl, did you figure out how to turn a 7 day week into 9 or 10 yet? More importantly, did you finish your guage indicator design?
