When I bought my 68 firebird it was missing a lot of parts. One of them happened to be the glove box liner that installs in the dash. I have the glove box door and a new liner. There are three holes in the glove box hinge, lower dash bracket and glove box liner. What order do these go in and where do the threaded clips go?

The threaded clips install on the liner. I think the clips go on the middle hole for the hinge.
Insert the liner into the dash past it. Once the liner is inserted, it should look as if were installed from the rear of dash.

I have the box installed from the back and it is mounted with four screws right now. Two on top and two on the sides. The box had clips in it in those four locations. The bottom three holes had no clips in them. It seems to fit the best under the three holes that are in the lower dash. Which would mean that the clips would go in the glove box which would slide under the dash bracket. Then the glove box hinge would mount directly on top of the dash bracket. So it would be as follows.

From top to bottom.
Glove box door hinge
dash board bracket
glove box liner (with clips installed on the liner)

The glove box did not have clips in those locations so that's a little confusing since they did in all of the other mounting locations.

Found my answer. The glove box is on the bottom. Now I just need to find some clips.
