      Headliner installation 1969 Camaro

I've decided to try to install an original style headliner in my 1969 Camaro. Can anyone point me to a step-by-step set of instructions, or any "must-do/must-not-do" tips?

My suggestion is that you MUST take it to a professional! I tried putting one in my Chevelle, the front and rear glass was in so it was hard to pull tight. I used binder clips that you would get from an office supply place to hold in place as the contact cement dried and I was not happy with the results.

If the glass is out of the car and you have a friend to help, it may be worth it...but I will never try another!

From what i have read it's not as easy, but it can be installed with the headliner in. Watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucjvgMKls9U

Thanks for the advice. My windows aren't in yet, so maybe I have a chance.

Has anyone installed ultrasuede or alcantara?

I suspect my headliner is going to be a bitch to install since the windows are in and my roll bar is welded in.
