Anyone using a newer truck hydroboost with the long accumulator on a first gen? Anyone aware of the differences between these units and the astro van style units?

they are designed to stop a 7000lb truck not a 3500lb car. if your looking for a factory pull off, get one from a cobra and check out carl cassanovas website

So what makes them different than the boosters hydratech sells? Looking for technical data. Anyone have any REAL data or actually used one of the truck boosters with success?

The internals are different to operate at different pressure for given weight of the vehicle they are going in. Sure they look the same, but they are quite different on the inside. You can go onto bosch's website and look up all the different system parameters available for the same unit. lots of guys have used or tied using astro van boosters, but even they are really too big unless you use the master with them.
