I recently was offered a deal on a set of baer Pro-Plus front brakes with 14'' rotors. I don't have my wheels yet so I don't know if they will fit. I am looking at getting a set of forgeline zx3s at 17x9.5, but I need to wait a little longer before I have the extra cash. Does anyone know if these will fit? I don't want to buy brakes that will not clear. I am not sure if it makes a difference, but I am running AFX spindles.

I think you might have an issue with the 14" rotor inside the 17" wheel.

That's what I thought, but its a really good deal. I don't really want to deviate from my build plan, maybe I will get them to post the brake deal up here. I am sure someone would grab them.

I would consider jumping up to an 18" wheel if it is a good deal on the brakes. You could also consider changing to a 13" rotor and sell the 14" rotors. I think with Baer you can do that on most kits.

A friend of mine has a kit with 14'' rotors. He would give it to me for $1200, which is amazing, but I am not sure I want to go with an 18'' wheel. I need a little bigger sidewall as I have already ruined 3 rims due to potholes.

The 17s will not clear the 14" rotors
