Just making plans.

I don't have tubs and running stock leaf springs and have a brand new gas tank, so when it come time for wheels, I'll only be able to run an 8" probably with a 275 tire. I really want at least a 315 rear. Farther in the future, a 255 or 275 front.

My dilemma is, if I buy a set now, and can get the other mods done later, can I have Forgeline or someone widen their own make of, being that they're three piece?

I'm pretty sure I can't fit a 275 and a 315 or wider on the same width wheel. Same thing on the front, a 245 and 275 probably won't fit right on the same wheel.

I'd rather not buy two sets of wheels, and getting the other things I need to drive the car is far ahead of the wants of a mini tub etc. As I'm doing the C5 brakes, I need a larger wheel.

With a 3 piece wheel, it is actually pretty easy for the rear. As long as you do not narrow the rear, you can buy a new inner rim half to get your wider wheel.
