      Wheels for 1970 Charger

Can I run 20x8.5 on the front and 20x10 on the rear? I've searched around and saw that the wheel database had no Dodge info.

I have 18 x 9 and 18 x 10 on my 69. I run 275/40's and 295/45's without cutting, but offset was critical. I used the wheelworks tool once I chose the rubber.

I would suggest 19x8s up front to give just a little breathing room up front and a little stagger front to rear.

I agree with Jason on the stagger diameter from front to rear. If the car was mine, I'd do either 18x9 fronts and 18x10 rears with a 275/35/18 and a 305/35/18, or go big with a 19x8 and 20x10, with a 245/255 front and 285-305 rear.

Here is a pic of the Alloway built 70 Challenger with Boyd One Offs. This is a good idea of a stagger for the for the Big Mopars.

Cool, thanks for the information guys. I'll get some pics up when I get back to the states and put the new rims on.

I did 18x8 and 18x10 on my challenger you could probably do 11 out back easy on your charger with the corect offset.

What about an 18/20 stagger? The company I'm looking at doesn't produce a 19. So I got quoted 18x8 and 18x9.5... should I just go 20x10 out the rear?

The 2" stagger is a little passe' and what was done in 2001 because 19s were hard to get and it's really going to show on a car as big and long as a Charger but it's your car so it's your call.

      Here's two great examples.

Eh, I'm just going to put the 18's all the way around... it's a good look.

We are starting to see alot of interest in 3pc wheel for the Muscle Car market and recently ADV wheels released their TRAKfunction line. We can do 18",19",20"in any width, backspace, pad height with this line.

Let us know if you have an interest and we will get you a quote.
