I could use some advice here.

I have a Herb Adams swaybar for my 69 RS that is not on the car yet. It has the heim-joints to mount to the control arm. (yeah, I bought it looong ago!)

I purchased a DSE front suspension kit a few days ago that just happens to have their swaybar in it. I do not know it's method of mounting, whether it's traditional stabilizer links or what. All I know is that they said it was 1 1/8". Hell, it may be hollow for all I know.

I'm not sure which one to use and which one to sell! I'm drawn to the heim joints because they seem "cool". :) It also seems like I recall hearing that anything over 1" on the 69 was too much.

What should I do, and why?
Also, would the addition of a rear bar be good with either of the aforementioned front SB's?

Since you have both bars why not try each one and keep the 1 that you like? If the Herb Adams bar doesn't fit I would be interested in it for my project if you have a mind to sell it. I dont think that you will need to worry about a rear bar. I'd run just the front for a while then research the rear bar. Too much sway bar can be tricky to control. I believe that this has been discussed in other suspension posts.

No you do not need a rear bar.

The 1.125 bar should be hollow. I know that the Hotchkis one is. A solid 1" bar and a hollow 1.125 have around the same rate to them when they have the same dimentions in width and lever arm length. For packaging reasons I would surmise that they both do have the same dimentions. DSE does not have a 1.125 bar listed on their site other than what is in the front suspension package. I would guess that they source it out. The advantage of the hollow bar is it is lighter.

If I would to chose between solid or poly endlinks the solid would win every time. Why not use the solid ones and sell the poly ones with the bar you do not use?

I believe the VSE is not hollow, so if the DSE weighs less than the DSE is most likely hollow.
