well first off hello imve been a member for a while but only read all the great info we have avaiable to us on this website.

i tried to search in different type of searches on here and caem up empty so if anyone can lead me in the right direction i would greatly appreciatte it.

the project is:

1995 Chevrolet 1500 silverado ext cab step side bed.

work done so far is

tight gear ratio racing steering gear box, heim joint tie rod ends from baer brakes to adjust for bumpsteer

2 inch belltech drop spindles and 2 inch hotchkis drop coils up front

in the rear i have a seat of 4 inch drop hotchkis leaf springs along with clevert racing traction bars and a set of firestone bags over the diff and to the frame installed for towing purposes only.

what i am trying to do is stick as wide of wheels as i can in the back of this truck for maximum traction.

i am also lookig to stick the widest wheels possible in the front but not have any clearance or rubbing issues when truning with the tight geared steering box.

i currently have set of c4 corvete saw blades on the truck which i have to use adaptors for since the bolt pattern is different.

i was thinking about buy two c4 zr-1 sawblade rims which are 17x11 and continue to use my adaptors ad buying new adaptors for the front that are about half inch narrower.

if i was to use that set up with the stuff i would need to buy for a few hundred more bucks i cant get a set of rims tat bolt right up and toss the adaptors out the window.

i know there are companies like iforged, ccw, and so on that make wonderful lightweight wheels but i am trying to keep the cost on the rim as cheap as possible

i really dont care about looks and weight is my only concern that only comes after size and width.

i did find a set of carroll shelby cobra rims that offer a 17x11 and 17x9.5 in my bolt pattern for my truck.

i am wondering if anyone has stuffed the most rubber under one of these before and if even the 17x11 will fit in the rear.

like isaid i dont care about rim style, color, or look, just fitment, price, and performance for the amount i want t spend.

i would gladly even use steel wheels for a sleeper look but i cant even find any of those or a place that will make me a set that doesnt break the bank either.

anyways sorry for puttig up all this info i just wanted to be as precise with what i am looking for as possible.

thanks in advance and please excuse the newbie for not knwoing much around here.
