      68 firebird stance

Well i finally got my car lowered and intro v-rods on. Dropped 4 in rear and 3 in front. I think the front needs to go down a hair, maybe it will settle. What do you guys think. pictures dont do these wheels justice..they are much better looking in person

Do you have room for it to go lower? I can't believe the tires don't scrub- looks like the fenders are resting on the tires. I wouldn't go any lower- it looks great just like that.

It rides great! I have 4.75 backspacing on the front with 7 inch rims so there looks to be lots of room with the 225/45-18s. BTW the people at intro wheel were wonderful and very helpful and patient with me in helping with the correct size. The turn around was less than three weeks. And I couldnt be happier with the quality of this wheel. Here is another pic from my phone

I love the stance! How did you lower it? blocks, springs etc... I can't believe no rubbing, you must have nailed the backspacing. What size wheels in the back? I wouldn't go any lower in the front either.

I used dse 3 inch lowering spring in the back with an additional 1 inch lowering block. In the front I used 3inch drop springs from hotchkis. I have stock front end with the exception of disc brakes. The rims and tires are 18x8 rear with 5.75 backspacing I still have an inch between the inner fender and inner tire. Rear tires are 255/45-18. I like the way the rear tires tucks under and in, That was what i wanted. Fronts are mentioned above. I did alot of research on this site and got lucky the first time. Thanks for the compliment. Iam going to leave it alone, it will prob. settle alittle as well..cant wait to go cruzin. The weather is just starting to get into the fiftys here....its been a long winter. Take care.

I'd let it settle and see where you end up. I think it looks good!

I think it looks great! I completely agree, let it settle first. My car dropped quite a bit after it settled for a while.

      BirdBoy,

Thanks for using Hotchkis front springs. Your Bird looks great low like that. We like the new wheels too!
