which synthetic gear oil in my 12 bolt?

I'm changing my gear oil out in my camaro and I want to go synthetic. I'm running a series 4 carrier with 3.73 gear. Nothing special just want some opinions on the best choice.

If you are running a friction based posi, stay with conventional fluid and the appropriate friction modifier available at most parts stores.

i've been running Amsoil for 20+ years. it's been very good to me... both in my cars and in my sleds..(snowmobiles for my friends in the south). of course there are a lot more players in the synthetic oil industery now along with a lot of great products. I wouldn't be scared of Redline, Royal Purple or Mobile but you'll find more Amsoil in my garage then any other brand.

What do you want to run? if something has caught your eye, do some research and give it a try....
