Newstalgia is a dealer for Wheel Vintiques. If you order from either you will get the same product.

when I called I got a cheaper price from newstalgia...why not from the source?

Called News..and they guy recommended doing a 18x7 and a 18x8 set up. Says to do a 4 1/4" bs on the front and a 4 1/2 on the rears.

I'd rather do 18x8 front with a 4 3/4 BS and 18x9.5 with 5 1/2 BS on the rears...I will be using a stock rear end. Will I rub any with the 9.5's? I'd use a 275-40-18 tire.....

I couldn't find 18" ralleys on either site. Are you looking for 17" steels or billet 18"?

O.K. lets start with this what type of car is it going on first of all?? Second what is done to the suspension?? lowered, drop spindals, etc? that should make it a little easier...and also check out the application chart and see what others are running.

      Sorry I forgot all that....

these are going on a 68 camaro. Stock suspension right now. But will be using dropped spindles for the front(2"), and going with Detroit Speeds 3" drop multi-leaf.

Well if you are going with the 2 inch drop spindals let me save you the heartache of getting the wrong backspacing I had originally ordered 18x8 TT IIs with 5" of b.s. for the front but they rubbed on the suspension...so I had to sell them and reorder some with 4.5" b.s. which now fit perfectly...I am running 4.5" b.s. all the way around now on 18x8s which still have plenty of clearance front and back. I would suggest ditching the drop spindals and just going with some drop springs that way you dont have issues with ur backspacing.

Please let me know your outcome - as on my 68 - I have two TTII in the rear - 16*8 - 4in BS - on a 245 tire - and it slightly rubs the outer fender lip - I am looking in the near future to go to a 17*9.5 and stay on a 245 - but unsure if I should get a 5 in or 5 -1/4 BS - stock rear - 12 bolt - disc - lip is not rolled.

      Thanks

they just arrived at my shop....my brother say they look great. I am waiting for a camera phone pic... Now I am just waiting of delivery of the rear end from currie....and now I need to decide on what brand rubber to use....any suggestions? I plan on running 245-45-18 front tires and a 275-40-18 rear tire. What's your taste in tires?

Fast service..I ordered them on 6/15 and they hit my door today 7/13. Now once the rear arrives I'll see they fit correctly....hehehehe

EDIT: Just called the tire shop and they can't get a matching set (brand and tread wise) for the 245-45-18 and the 275-40-18. they do have a matched set with a 245-40-18....does it make that much of a difference???

A 245-45-18 is about 26.7 inches in diameter.

Please post pictures when you can. I'm curious to see what the 18 inch versions look like.

I love the look of 18" Rallies. I agree, flood us with pics when they're mounted.

This car has 245-40-18 tires on the front:

I think the 245-45-18 would be too tall for the front.
