On a '67 Tempest you will have extreme difficulty running anything larger than a 245 on the front without modifications. On a '66 Pontiac A-Body, I'm running 245s on the front and 275s on that back. Unless you did some wheelhouse modifications, you're 275s on the back will rub under some conditions. I'm running 18s all around because I simply do not like 20s - period. Just see no good reason whatsoever. But the sizing will be very similar on the back anyway.

Thanks four getting back two me very nice ride!!! My wheels came in when i bought them i got 18x8 front and 18x9.5 rear with 5" backspacing! The guys said they would fit and i like the wheel so i bought them!! when they came i (dry fitted) them and they overlap the fender lip about 1/4 or alittle more. I need alittle more backspacing and the only way around it is run a 20 two get the backspacing in need and stay in my budget. Or trust me i would have run the 18x9.5 in the rear! You say u r running 245 on the front? is that a 245/35/18?

      thanks four your help

You may have to roll the fender lip some. Or take off your chrome lips on the wheel wells. I'm trying to fit a 18x9 with 5 inch backspace up front and it may be a losing battle. The rear for my 18x10's are 5.67 backspace and requires a bit of fender rolling. Good luck.

Front is 245/40/18. Slightly different profile, same side to side.

I can't imagine fitting 18x9.5 w/5" backspacing fitting. I'm running 18x10 w/6.125" BS. I have just enough clearance, and I modified my wheehouses in the back (on the outside). So, my wheels are 1/2" wider but I've got 1.125" more backspace.... if you just "roll the fenders" you're going to have to keep the back end somewhat high and hope you never hit any bumps.
