Long story short for what ever stupid reason I threw away my steering box with pitman arm a while back. Kicking my self in the ass now. Called Original parts group and went to order centerlink and pitman arm. Center link has note stating the centerlink wont work with pitman arm they sell???? I was told that I can use 68 centerlink as long as I use 68 pitman arm and the parts are much cheaper. Does anybody know if this is true? Thanks

I do not believe this is true. What I do know is that the poncho center link is definitely different than the chebbie. At least for OEM, the '66-67 center link is a different part number than the '68+. Of that I'm sure. IIRC, the tie rod ends and idler are also different.
Also, check PY. OPG is generally clueless when it comes to fitment for the pontiacs. They think an a-body is an a-body. PY does have pitman arms I believe.

So true with OPG. Wish I would have checked in to PY prices arent bad either. Now I have to figure out if inner tie rods I have are worth a crap.
