Front console that folds up into a seat?

I've got 4th gen camaro seats in my '72 Chevelle currently with no console. I want a console that will fold up into a seat for the rare occasions I may have the whole family aboard. I'm going to start sniffing through the junk yards to see if I can come up with something factory that I could modify. Anybody already done something like this, or have any ideas?

This is what I was going to suggest.

I don't know how much space you have between your seats currently, but the 3rd gen Dakota (2005 to 2009) in standard option has a fold-into-a-seat console. The option is a non folding console, in those trucks. It's fairly narrow as well.
