      Wheel Vintiques model 93?

      Hey Guys.
I was just wondering if anyone has, had, or knew anyone that was running the wheel vintiques model 93 Rally II wheels? If so, What size are you running? Back spacing?

My main question is, How is the quality and finish? Do they clear larger brakes? Im thinking im going to want them in 17X8 and 17X10 if possible for my 69 GTO. I plan on using the ATS AFX spindles and adapting a newer c5-c6 z06 brake setup front and rear, But I dont want to have to run spacers.

here is a link to the wheels in question.

If any of you know of an alternative to get a 17in Rally II wheel, Im all ears. Or know of a set for sale used.
      Thanks guys.
      Charlie

You can download the brake templates for Corvette stuff from the Kore3 site. If you go with C6 Z06, then you will need 2" of front caliper clearance. I don't believe the Type 93s can be had that way, but I could be wrong. You're most likely looking at a custom built rim. In any event, no way the Z51 or Z06 brakes will fit in a 17" rim.

Watch for some pics of my NewGen 500s in the next few days --> http://driverzinc.com/product/newgen-five-hundred/

They're custom built with the required pad depth (yes, I'm running Z06 brakes). The "windows" will be finished in a charcoal gray.

Interestingly, the Z51 brakes actually require a bigger rim than the C6 Z06 brakes. The Z51 caliper sticks out more and comes very close to the hoop of an 18" wheel. The Z06 caliper is much more compact, with the exception of it's "wideness" - thus the aforementioned pad depth must be taken into account.
