Are there any American Racing wheel vendors that can quote me a price for 18" AR500s? Looking for 18x10 rear and 18x8 front.

Thanks!
-Joe

We can! And American Racing is in our back yard, and custom sets are not taking longer than 4 weeks from them.

Here they are on our website: http://driverzinc.com/category/wheels/american-racing/

BUT: They don't make 18's. (I called AR and confirmed)

Good thing we do! In our NewGen line. Our 500 is a little different, and I would say better, as we make them in a 2 piece billet wheel, so not cast, and we make them completely custom, so soft lip, and powder coat, caliper offset, colors and bolt patterns are all custom:

Hi Jon,

Here's American Racing's website that shows the AR500s in 18:

http://asp.americanracing.com/wheels/details.asp?wheelid=285&name=AR500&style=500&desc=2-piece%20polished/painted%20alloy%20wheel&section=V

Also you quoted me info and pricing on the 18's about a year ago but I can't find the email or PM (just went through this with Justin). Also I have found 2 other vendors that show the 18s for sale on their website. I am familiar with your New Gens but I wanted the "more stock" look of the AR 500s. Since you gave me the first quote on these I wanted to come to you first. Did you guys stop offering the 18s because of your New Gens?

Joe,

Jon and I both called AR on the 18" 500's today and they are no longer making the wheel in anything over a 17". Feel free to check http://www.americanracing.com/browse_vintage.asp , the manufacture of American Racing website, to confirm.

Joe,
Between a year ago, and today, a lot has changed with American Racing including ownership. I'm willing to bet that those websites that you found 18" AR500s have NOT been updated. Call and talk to them, and they'll tell you straight from the horse's mouth. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR NEWGEN LINE either. If they offered it, I'd sell it to you.

OK thanks for checking guys. Sorry for taking up your time on this (both here and on LG). It's frustrating when stuff is posted on sites but is wrong or has changed. Not sure which way I want to go now.

Side-by-side, since we all like to see pics!
I think the fat-lip makes it up-to-date and if painted the same way, would be stunning. :twothumbs:

We actually have a set of 18's in the shop right now, that we are lugging over to paint. The customer ordered them with charcoal grey accents, and we'll hopefully have photos up here for everyone to see in a week or so.

Oh, and FYI everyone, we'll have two piece 18" step lip outers in stock in about 45 days.
