3-point seat belt in 65 Mustang?
Has any one installed 3-point seat belts in a 65 Mustang? My friend has a fast back and been wanting to put 3-point seat belts in his car for awhile.

We have 3 point kits for Mustangs. The first year with the threaded holes was 67, I think.
If he can weld a plate in the roof at the point Ford had the car reinforced for them we can HELP.

Thanks Billy. I looked at your website but did not find anything for Mustangs. I'll let my friend know about the plate. He felt around the roof for an attachment point and couldn't find any. We figured a plate had to be welded on for it to work. Do you know roughly where the plate should be?

Rick,
I'm not sure of the location.We put a set in a friends 68. Have someone post a picture.
You will find a set of holes in one of the top cross braces.

I've got a set at the shop, from Mustangs Unlimited, that are going in a '66 GT coupe. I can take some pics of the kit and instructions and post them Tuesday if you are interested. I'm not installing them yet (still doing bodywork).
