Here are some pics of my 71 El Camino with with base C6 18's and 19's. 245/40/18 and 285/35/19 I used 2 inch adaptors in the front and 2.5 in the rear. They fit great, no rubbing issues anywhere, in the rear I can fit my fingers all around the tire. I'm not sure on them yet, but they are growing on me.

Normally, I'm not a big fan of putting newer car wheels on older cars, but this combo looks like it works pretty good to me. Nice!

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to run them for the summer, see how I feel and maybe see what other options are out there.

IMO, C6 wheels tend to look good on Chevelles and El Caminos. I think your car looks great with those wheels.
