Nothing wrong with them but arn't they made china? The whole pro-touring name on a wheel is just stupid imho.

Don't know where you are getting your info, but you are obviously confused: Genuine Boyds wheels are made in Anaheim, even our castings come from Chino, Ca. The Genuine Boyds designs are probably THE MOST copied wheels on the planet, American Racing licensed the Boyd Coddington name and put it on a series of Boyds most popular designs, which they cast in China and assembled in Calif. American Racing is out of business, WheelPros bought parts of the company and has chosen to discontinue there line of imports (thank goodness.) If you don't like the designs that is your choice, if you don't like billet wheels that's OK, but don't spread stories about made overseas, bootleg version of this or that. We are a small company and we can take criticism, but we don't need people spreading lies and untruths. Thanks.

welp if you arent the Boyds that are made in china(or cast in china)
and not the boyds i waited 8 months for.. (and if you are, **** you still..)
then I am sorry about that, forgive my ignorance..
but i do still stand by my statement that some of those look dead up like some forgeline SP3P or even some hres(but everyone copies those lol)... so still.. bootleg in my book.
i mean.. are they at least affordable?.. what makes these better than others?... performance proven?
LIGHTER?.. i mean.. what?
Your STREETRODDER wheel makers...
what I see are designs that are offered by every wheel maker out there. so everyone is copying someone. there have been VERY few original designs in the past decade.
with that said, I have a set of gold centered pt-10's on my black ram-air ta vert. no complaints from me about these VERY nice wheels.

Mr Vengeance, maybe you're right, maybe we don't belong here. We shouldn't be invading on your turf, I don't know what we were thinking spending our advertising dollars here, uppitty hotrodders! Truth is I came to Genuine Boyds after running the racing dept at another wheel manufacturer for a long time. I am an x-road racer, my kid is a race go-kart champ (dirt and road race), I started auto-Xing in the late 60's, if anyone is guilty of invading into your space here it is me, we will just slink away into the night back to our own space.........NAH! As I said before, we are a small company, we are growing, bringing on new machinery and people, trying to improve our customer service continuously. I would take it that I can mark you down as not completely in favor of what we are doing?

don't let them get to you, Jeff. the american made boyd's are some of the nicest wheels ever made. and there is not a wheel company out there that would not give their right arm to have the street rod business that boyd's had.
when you deal with street rodders, most are perfectionists. they hold things to a much higher standard than normal car guys....and they can afford to. the fact that boyd's made all of them happy is enough for me.

once everyone stops to realize that there are NO MORE original wheel face designs to be made, the world will be a better place. they are all just variations well established themes. i'm glad to have genuine boyds on the right hand side of the screen over there ---->
I am giving a extra 5% till the end of February.

Wheel designs are not patented. There will always be "bootleg" copies.

Perry, I won't be able to proceed by the end of February to get the extra 5% but I had already moved these AMERICAN MADE wheels to the top of my list after our discussion that took place prior to becoming aware of this thread. My decision was because they offer the dimensions I need to clear my "big brakes" and will enhance the handling that my improved geometry is supposed to offer... all while maintaining a nostalgic look that I feel belongs on MY car more than a wheel resembling something off of a European sedan would offer.
My $.02
