Well, I purchased the AFCO K-series Street Shocks over the Pro-Shocks, they're 50/50 shocks, and they're basically shocks that are good enough for a dirt track race car with around 1000 lb/in springs, but are stock mount shocks for dirt/circle track classes that require stock-style suspensions.

They were infinitely better than my old yellow ACDelco stationwagon shocks. On the street, where there are roads that have good paving, but there's a lot of waviness in the road, the shocks make the car fly over them. Conversely, roads that aren't wavy, but have crappy paving and potholes and crap like that, the shocks make the ride a little worse than softer shocks. But hey, that's the way it is. Lastly, the shocks are so stiff that there is barely any suspension travel.
On the back roads, the handling is definitely improved over just the old shocks alone. 35 mph turns became 45-50 mph turns. 20 mph freeway on-ramps are now around 45 mph turns safely. And that's with 255/60/15 Radial T/As. There is definitely more suspension and tire grip. I'm running a lot of rear suspension because I'm not putting down more than 275 hp to the ground on a near stock 8:1 Pontiac 400. Someone with a lot more horsepower than me would probably use the softer 3/5 or the 5/5 rear shock.
Bottom line, If you want all out street performance, I would get these shocks, they're $64 a piece. If you're an old man with soft butt cheeks, and want a combination of comfort and performance, I would not get them. I love them and I think they're worth every penny. Thank god for circle track guys who maintain a market for performance parts that work with stock style suspensions. Afco also has many other valving choices, I just got the heaviest ones because I'm insane. I'm not sure how these compare against the Pro Shocks SS100s/SS200s, but I know from reading Circle/Dirt track forums and articles that these are in the same class of performance.

They came with everything(all the bushings and nuts and washers) you see in that pic, except more stickers. They gave me 1 gigantic AFCO Racing Shocks sticker per Shock absorber box, and 3 Day Motorsports Stickers. The bushings are urethane/polyurethane bushings.
