Not many reclining race seats. If you want a true race seat it usaully doesnt recline.
What is the intended use of the car?
Is weight an issue?
Is getting in and out of the car an issue?

Most would agree that if you're looking for reclining Sport seats, the best idea is find a place where you can actually sit in them. Many people have found that what looks great in pictures doesn't always agree with your physical stature. If you're 5'8" 170lbs, you won't have much problem, but if you're bigger or smaller than that, you really want to let your back and backside do the deciding.

I'm 6', 170lbs, plan to use the car for some track time, but also want to be comfortable for longer drives. Interested in personal choices others have made, that they are happy with or wish they hadn't. First is comfort, but then there's life expectancy, wear and mechanical. I'm looking long term so if I spend the money they should last. Is my only choice Recaro? Does anybody have Corbeau?

I have Corbeau in my Nova and they're not too bad. Little firm, but I fit well in them. I'm 6'1" 210 lbs.

I have sat in some A4 Corbeaus and they were a bit firm but were really good for feel in the microfiber and side support. If you get them it is highly recommened to get the lumbar support I have been told.

I guess I thought you ment race seat. Most sanctioning bodies for racing do not allow reclining seats.
I have a solid frame suspension seat in my falcon. No slider and no reclining.
Most race spec require that the back of the seat is mounted to the roll bar.

They're fabric. I can't remember exactly which model they are. They do recline, and are pretty light weight. I'll try and get a pic if you'd like. I'm storing the car at my mother-in-law's house while I'm building the Camaro, so it might take a few days. Let me know.

I have the Procar by Scat Rally seats in my '77 Camaro. They are fairly inexpensive but they do recline, are very comfortable and have a map pocket on the seat back. Summit Racing has them among other places.
