Hi guys, I need a change so I got my torq thrust sold to friend and need new wheels. I'm moving up to 18's because a 315/35-17 on a 11" wheel is gonna be real close on my car and they arn't tall enough. I'm either going with 275/35-18 and 295/35-18 bfg kdw or nitto 555rII in 285/35 and 305/35. I have room for either combo. I'm thinking kdw2 because I really want to put some miles on my car and would rather have my car chirp the tires than hook and break my trans again. Nittos are sticky. For rims I'm undecided. I like the old school look like et mags and vww. I don't like rims with bolts on them or smooth lip wheels. I want a 5 spoke with stepped lip. I really can't decide if I want all polished(I think it might look better with my paint and chrome trim) or polished lip and grey centers. Please help me decide! Here are some pics of my car and wheels I'm considering. These pics are how the car sits now with my new rear springs(except the second pic thats before height). Also rim sizes I can run are 18x9.5 or 18x10 front and 18x10-18x11 back.

I vote for the 275/295 combo for more tire selections. I can't stand being locked into one or two tire models. Also recommend considering the Continental Extreme DW (summer) tires. I have the all season (DWS) version on a daily driver and they live up to their tirerack rating. Pretty much the same cost as the BFGs.

Just like those, with the charcoal center would look very cool on your car, a friend had a dark green metallic 69 Chevelle with charcoal centers, they looked fantastic.

Just ordered the kdw2's, once I get them I'll measure for my backspacing and rim width.
