      55 Chevy Power Booster Question

I'm want to update my power booster to a 7" polished stainless booster. My question is do I need to go with a dual diaphragm? Please advise and thanks in advance for info!

The dual diagphram almost doubles your surface area making it almost twice as effective. A single seven inch won't do much for you.

Most aftermarket boosters suck unless you have plenty of vacuum, almost have to have a stock motor for them to work right. I would either use a DSEs set up, or a Hydraboost.
