I am running a stock size lt1 rear rotor and caliper. I am using 13 inch fronts and would like to go to a larger rear rotor. Is it possible to run a larger rear rotor using the lt1 calipers? what do I need to make this work. I like the lt1 calipers because the ebrake is easy and works well in stopping the car from rolling across from flat garage floor. I realize they will not stop the car from speed if the brakes fail and can live with that.
baer uses the lt1 caliper set-up in their track rear kits. my track rear kit has 13" slotted and drilled rotors. baer no longer sells the full kit, but they are clearing out the kits minus the calipers for $350. that's a pretty good deal considering you get rotors, brackets, flex lines, parking brake cables, ect for the price.

My Camaro has a similar setup, C4/13" front - LT1 rear caliper/rotor. For my car the rear brake pressure needs to be reduced to get good brake balance. Increasing the rear rotor diameter or increasing the front caliper effective piston area (C5) will change the balance even more.

I am running c5 fronts with 13 inch rotors and a proportional valve already. I already have the calipers, flex lines and brake cables. I guess all I need is larger rotors and a bracket. The bracket looks pretty easy to make. Are the lt1 rotors the same as c4 rotors on the rear?

Where do I find a 13 inch lt1 rotor and brackets. Looks like the Baer units are 12 inch and I only need the rotors and brackets. Can probably make the brackets by copying what I have and adding a inch in lenght.

In your search for a different rotor, pretty sure you're limited to 0.81" thickness. Wilwood might make a rotor that will work for you.

my baers are 13". I would bet that you can buy the rotors from them.
