where do I find what size hubcentric spacer I need?

I just purchased 18 inch staggered TSW wheels with tires on Ebay for an amazing price. Now how do I find out what size hubcentric spacers I need to put on my 1969 Pontiac Lemans convertible? and should I change the studs? Thank you42350

The hub-centric ring fits between the centerbore of the wheel and the flange on the axle. So the measurment of those two would be important. The rule for lug nut engagement is that the thread length is equal to the width of the stud (1/2" studs require 1/2" of lug thread engagment.) So a hub-centric ring usually doesn't add enough length to warrant stud replacment (but it's always safe to check.)

Set suspension at ride height, set wheel assy where you want it and take measurements. Its sounds easy, but can be a real p.i.t.a. Of course you want to also check lock to lock and suspension travel clearance.

If you google wheel bore or wheel hub diameter for the make of car you will likely find the bore diameter after a bit of digging. That is how I did it for some BMW wheels I bought. You can double check your findings with a set of vernier calipers once you find them. The rings are available on ebay in just about any size you need.
