What is the best thread sealer to use on my pipe adapters into my wilwood proportioning valve? I've read a post about this before but I can't seem to find it again. Loctite 545 comes to mind, but not sure if that is correct.

I have been using either the liquid thread sealant , just the plain white stuff in my box, but miss the first full thread. OR Carefully ,,,missing the first full thread to thread and a half, and use the yellow gas pipeline thread tape I get at Lowes or Menards, its much thicker and seals very well.
There are other thread sealants but Idont have my chart.

I always use the yellow gasline sealant (Rector-seal) , from a hardware store.
It hardens a prevents leaks.
I put it on the bleeder screws too , to prevent air being pulled past the threads when bleeding or flushing the brakes too.

I like # 2 Permatex not so sensitive to being spotless clean and it still seals if you have to back off to say..aim a 90* fitting in the right direction. It kind of looks like your kids first pooh but works great.
Good Luck
